Alicia Keys - No One
No One is the lead single taken from Alicia Keys' third studio album, As I Am. The song was first heard in August 2007 after Keys included a clip of the song in a newsletter on her official website and fan club and was officially released on September 10, 2007. The newsletter invited fans to call her on a telephone number provided and let her know what they thought of the song. The song leaked in its entirety on August 28, 2007, with its radio premiere, on V103, WVEE, in Atlanta on August 29.
With only one full day of airplay, the song debuted at #65 on Billboard's Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. On the same chart, in its second week of release, the song reached #21, whilst climbing again to #10 during its third week.
On the Billboard Hot 100, the song debuted at #71, without the benefit of downloads. Next week the song is expected to climb thanks to the addition of the download to iTunes.
Alicia performed "No One" at the 2007 VMA's on 9/9/07 to rave critical reviews.
The song was officially released as a single on September 10, 2007.
The music video for "No One" is scheduled to be released on September 17, 2007 in various music media channels.
