"Single" is the name of the second single off the fifth studio album by New Kids on the Block titled The Block. The single features solo artist Ne-Yo and is set to be released August 12, 2008 on iTunes. On Wednesday, July 30, 2008 at 5:00 PM EDT People website posted a 1:33 long snippet of the new single which was then posted on NKOTB official site and imeem. On Thursday July 31, 2008 the full song leaked onto numerous websites two weeks early from the release date

So check out their long awaited new album The Block is the fifth studio album by New Kids on the Block. The album will be released on September 2, 2008 a 2 Disc Deluxe Edition will also be released at the same time as the original. See 2008 in music. The first official single off the album is "Summertime" and the song was released on May 13, 2008. The second official single titled "Single" featuring Ne-Yo and is set to be released as a Digital Download on August 12, 2008 on iTunes
